Thought we were voyeurs for everything? As it turns out, we may draw the line at Sookie. Oddly enough, Netflix users and their friends don’t want to know whether or not you’re catching up on Downton Abbey or watching the latest Paranormal Activity.

Is this an issue of personal privacy (e.g. no one wants anyone else to know they like Jersey Shore) or is it possible users just don’t care? Considering the explosion surrounding social television, this looks like a case of users having no idea what they actually want.
Netflix must tread lightly here after their various PR quips in the days of the Quixster debacle, but Spotify can fill streams with streaming songs, in my mind there’s no reason why Netflix can’t do the same.
