Fashion and luxury brands are pumping out site launches and revamps so fast these days it’s hard to keep up. Early last month we saw new iterations of Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, and Jean Paul Gaultier but there’s already a fresh batch of sites to check out. See the list below:
1. After snagging $138 million from investors in May, Gilt Groupe is targeting men with the launch of their full priced, limited time luxury e-commerce site. The clean site style and a touch of editorial make for a friendly experience. Try it out at Park & Bond.
2. Stella McCartney unveiled a new website and iPad app. Although Stella’s World is mainly an elegant piece of multimedia brochureware, the website launch shows great strides with eCommerce integration for almost 30 European countries.
3. Salvatore Ferragamo launched their first online trunk show on August 5th. The experience allows shoppers watch models walk down the catwalk in next season’s wares and pre-order items from the fall collection.
The experience, which extends for three weeks only, includes a “Style Yourself” section for dressing a mannequin and then sharing the perfect outfit with friends via social media. Try it out at trunkshow.ferragamo.com
