Zarella’s latest foray into the world of maximizing Twitter performance breaks down the optimum content sharing vs @reply percentages on Twitter. According to the chart below, 60 to 80 percent of tweets should consist of link sharing.

Another 10% of your Twitter content should consist of @mentions, but if you choose to exceed that number the number of times people RT you will decrease.
